Textel is a pixel blackletter drawn on a 16-pixel grid: the tight, upright rhythm of textura, rebuilt from square pixels.
It’s a variable font with three settings. Weight takes the stems from 1 to 3 pixels. Element expansion shrinks every pixel down to a dot-matrix point. Element shape rounds the square pixels into circles. That gives twelve named styles, from Light to Bold Round Matrix, and everything in between.
Use it for game titles, album art, posters, menus and screens. Anywhere you want gothic with a digital edge.
Sizes move in steps of 16px, where every pixel lands on the screen grid. Switch off snapping to see weights in between.
